Until when can the property be sold?

08-Jan-2023 (In Civil Law)
There is a petition filed by my Uncle asking for partition and permanent injunction of our house. We have not received the notice physically (by sign). Though, someone (through uncle) pasted 3-4 copies of that summon during night on walls of our house. I doubt whether this was pasted by court or by plaintiff as it was done on Saturday night. My property documents are clear and registered as per law. Can i sell the property before our first appearance in court? will it create any kind of trouble for me?

It is affixation by court, since you might have denied for accepting the summons. This is court process. Since you are aware about the case filed so you can not tranfer the property by any means till the disposal of case. And moreover you are obliged to appear in the court.

I have perused the contents of your query and would advise you to seek a detailed consultancy from a lawyer having expertise. copy of the summons pasted on the walls needs to be verified before forming an opinion.. Better particulars are required
