Surname different in father's and son's certificate

sir, Is it necessary to have same surname in son's & father's caste certificate. Due to some reason father's surname was wrongly used which was replaced by correct surname in children caste certificate. But here problem is that the surname of son's & fathers does not match. Does this cause some problem in future ? Or what is the correct solution.

first your grand father surname might be in correct form then with that rectify your father's surname then correct your son's surname this can be done with a simple name rectification, and follow the process
