Starting media website newspaper already publishing

hello sir i have started a media website to publish my local area news on it and i have page named as the website so my question is today i was heared that already a local newpaper publishing company is available in my city with my site or page name. i am publishing only fb page and website not any newspaper but they are publishing newspaper. can you suggest me i am going right or wrong,means they have authority to put case on me or not? thanks

It depends on who holds the copyrights. Yes if newspaper company has the copyrights of the name, they can sue you.
