by your letter it is assumed that your mother is alive and she is yet holding the right in the flat, if you want to avoid the litigation way there is a simple way of making a gift deed in your name and getting the flat transferred in your name this process will protect you from the litigation and a registers gift deed will hold more importance as the person has done within his life time

It will take lot of time for such case for the judgement if you don't have proof it is very difficult to show that you have already paid the share to your sisters most of the time this kind of cases leads to settlement where u have to pay the share of the property I. E. 1/4 as per the current market rate

It will take more than 2-3 years to dispose partition suit. You can settle the matter during pendency of suit by way of mediation. If there is no progress in settlement talk than it will better to purchase their shate.

A Civil query (ID: 74878)
as per your information your Sister filed property share case i.e. partition case against you. The out come of partiton case depends upon the nature of acquistion of property (Flat) i.e. whether it is self acquired or ancestral property of your mother. It is not cleared. The result will depend upon that basis. if you provide me the source of proeprty then i will be in possiton to help you. You may provide further detils.
