I understand your concern. If there is no case registered against you personally and the FIR is only against your father, then your police character certificate should not be denied. You may file a written representation to the Superintendent of Police (SP) or relevant authority explaining that you have no criminal record and attaching any necessary documents (like your Aadhaar, affidavit stating your clean record, etc.). If they still deny it, you can file a writ petition in the High Court under Article 226 of the Constitution to direct the police to issue your certificate. It is also helpful to seek assistance from a lawyer we can represent your case effectively.

If there is no FIR or criminal case registered against you and the dispute is only against your father, then your police character certificate cannot legally be denied on that basis. You may submit a written representation to the Superintendent of Police or the concerned authority clearly stating that no case is pending against you and attach an affidavit and a self-declaration. If the character certificate is still not issued, you may approach the Hon’ble High Court under Article 226 by filing a writ petition seeking directions for issuance of the certificate. You may also mention your requirement for government registration and your clean record.
