I admitted my daughter to DPS North Kolkata in haste. The very next day i was supposed to see a doctor for her maternal grandmother. she was admitted to the hospital and subsequently detected with cancer. My daughter could not attend school for a single day after admission and ensuing summer vacation of the school. I applied for cancellation of her admission and sought refund citing compassionate ground. I have been refunded only the caution money of rs 10000. Can i get backrest of the amount
I don't think you will get back the admission fees or other costs because as per my knowledge because all other expenses you have made are non refundable due to the fact that the seat was alloted to your daughter if you ask for refund then it will be a total loss for the school.

yes you can get back the rest, for that you need first lodge a complaint at the police station, then dont file money suit as its civil in nature, you need to file a criminal case along with media coverage, the school has a reputation, it will bend to you, to save their goodwill gesture publicly
