Recovery of unpaid construction dues from Mr. Neeraj rewat.

21-May-2026 (In Civil Law)
"My father is a mason (mistri). He constructed a house for a businessman named Neeraj. At that time, Neeraj promised to clear the payment within 2–3 days. However, it has been over a year now, and he is still refusing to pay, repeatedly making excuses that he will pay 'later' or 'tomorrow'. What legal steps should we take now?"

Immediately send a legal demand notice for recovery of your dues. As , you had said that since one year, your father have doesn’t received his dues then it clearly indicates that the businessman in the intention to make it time barred under limitation act.

Your father can legally recover the dues. First, we should send a Legal Notice to Neeraj demanding payment in 15 days. If he ignores it, we can file a Civil Recovery Suit under Order 37 CPC. Keep all proof of work done like messages or bills. The limitation period is 3 years, so act quickly. Book a consultation with me for help with notice and court process. Regards, Adv. Shamma Perween

Dear Client, Aapke father ke sath jo hua wo galat hai, aur is mamle me kanooni kadam uthaye ja sakte hain. Is tarah ke mamlo me sabse pehle Legal Notice bheja jata hai. Aap Neeraj ko ek formal legal notice bhejkar apna poora payment 15 dino ke andar clear karne ka samay de sakte hain. Agar wo fir bhi paise nahi deta, toh aapke paas Civil Court me Recovery Suit file karne ka poora adhikaar hai. Kisi bhi chat, bill, ya gawahon (witnesses) ke saboot zaroor sambhal kar rakhein. Paid Consultation & Next Steps Is case ko majbooti se aage badhane aur legal notice draft karne ke liye hume aamne-saamne baat karni hogi. Aap mere profile ke jariye ek Paid Consultation book kar sakte hain, jahan hum saare documents discuss karke turant kanooni karwahi shuru kar denge. Hum aapko poora insaaf dilane me madad karenge.
