Public function in MCD park damaging trees, how to stop the same

Sir A block near my house has one MCD park having Approximate 20 long green trees. MCD is allowing public functions in the park and trees are regularly being damaged. where I should contact for stopping public functions to stop damaging of trees.
U have to file a case in national green tribunal for protection of environment. This is only remedy for protection of environment and stop MCD for doing this harmful things to the society. Kindly consult

You should inquire from civic local body for same. Whether permission was given by local body with conditions not to damage trees or not. All trees are not protected. Better way to handle it to report to local newspaper to publish report on same to put pressure on local body officials.

first of all you given a letter to MCD in this regard and request them to keep a watch and insure that the trees and plants are not damaged during the function, if MCD does not take any appropriate action in this regard then you can approach National Green Tribunal and file a petition in this regard. if you want any further assistance then you contact me.
