Procedure to track court case status as case number always changing

Hi Sir, i have filed partition suit in the district court . I need to travel a lot as a part of my job , So when i asked my lawyer to give me a case number he is saying case number always changes . So my question is how can we track cout case status.

In a first the case number of a suit does not changes un less and untill one goes into appeal in the higher court. one can check the status on the website. You can tack the dates and orders passed (if any) on the webisite.

Sir not all district courts have got online tracking systems. Therefore it will completely depend on where you have filed your case. If you have filed your case in Pune- Mmbai Courts you will be able to track it "ecourts.gov.in". Other courts are also available on the said website.
Also Pls note CASE NUMBER DOES NOT KEEP CHANGING. When you file the matter, you get a Lodging/Stamp Number. Once Court Department checks all your papers filed and if it does not have any error or objection you will be assigned a Registered Number.
You can track your case by entering Lodging No. with Year or by Registered No. along with Year.
Also it can be tracked by entering party name along with correct year.

Case number will changed very rarelly.e.g. if the pecuniary jurisdiction of court will changed...as you have filed suit for partition, at present there is no chances of change of case number.....if your case is pending in maharashtra you can check case status on " court.mah.nic.in".....find a good lawyer
