Procedure to file a compensation claim

In partnership promoting business one partner filed suit against another partner and make us a party regarding purchase of a flat. Plaintiff claimed that the deed of convenience was invalid and prevent us for last 4 years to enjoy the possession . Learned court dismissed the case. Now do we file compensation claim against the promoting firm? If so how.
