it there is a danger to your building or he is trying to encroach on your building you can file a suit and obtain a stay though he may have filed caveat still, after hearing you can get a stay and see that your property is not damaged or encroached, if there is no likelihood of encroachment or damage then do nothing and enjoy life.

If your property is in danger or part of your propert is in danger due to said construction, take injunction order . As he already sent caveat. So before going to hear on the injunction application you need to inform of the case and details to the caveator.

Contact us or any counsel immediatly before he proceed with contruction.

Caveat is filed only for the purpose of, you cannot take the stay order without notice to him. You can file a case before the jurisdictional court along with stay application and after hearing of both parties court will pass an order on the basis of hearing. If court will stay the construction then he cannot move futher until the final judgement of the court.
