Paid only half the amount as mentioned in affidavit, what will happen

I have given a affidavit to repay amount of 10 lac within stipulated time, but was able to pay only 5 lac, reason father was sick and expired, what punishment it can attract
The details are incomplete provide the copy of affidavit and also for what reason you have taken the money and whether the said money was taken in lieu of anything. But in the above stated circumstances you have to pay the remaining amount.
