Our case on the property of our grandparents has reached final stage.

This question is about my grandparents property. My grandparents property is now in case. My mother's brother has taken the property without notifying my mother. And the case was filed now the situation is the lawyer we appointed did not go for the hearing for the last 1 year but we don't know this. As nobody went for the hearing now the case has reached the trial procedure. Please suggest me what can be done so that we will win the case.
