Opposite Party Constructing on Land while case is in District Court

Hello Sir, I have a dispute over a piece of land on which session court gave judgement in my favor, after that the opposite party went to district court and case is under trial. Now the opposite party started construction on disputed land, local police sub inspector is saying that i should take a stay before approaching the police. What should i do?? Please help
Yes you should file an interim stay application in the High Court for the same and get it stayed till the trial is going on and only then would be stopped from making any further construction on the plot
