Hi, I am a law graduate but not enrolled with the state bar as my final semester result is yet to be pronounced. Can I send a legal notice to a retailer for refund of my money or exchange of a product?

Hi, as you are not enrolled with bar association, you cannot send legal notice to anyone. To send a legal notice you should qualify All India Bar Examination and enroll yourself with a bar.
You can send notice but not legal notice stating yourself as an advocate.

Hello Budding Lawyer, NO you can't do any work relating to serving of the legal notice. As one should get registered with concerned state bar council and the day you get your id no. i.e enrolment no. then only you are eligible to give effective notice . All the Best !

Hi , You cannot send a legal notice to the retailer in case if you are not a lawyer as yet. However you can send a letter including the grieviance you had , further mentioning the fact that you will take legal action in case your girviance is not addressed. Also in the alternative you could do two things :

1) Draft a legal Notice yourself and send it by way of some advocate you know.
2) You can simply file a consumer complaint yourself and contest a claim in the consumer forum in case if its a consumer case even if you are not a lawyer.
