Noisy Neighbourhood- Legal notice to be issued

My neighbour's children's keeping on doing skating for most of the day, last year we have made police complaint but the same is of no use. We share common wall therefore lot of noise comes to our house and which is causing us huge trouble, can something be done if we decide to send a legal notice?
I have perused the contents of your query and would advise you to issue a strongly worded legal notice restraining them to cause nuisance. Failing which a suit for mandatory injunction be filed against them

Yes ofcourse you can send a legal notice to your troubling neighbour to refraining their children from making noise. It has been covered by the Indian Penal code and would fall as a criminal offence. But you must send them a legal notice by giving them a decent opportunity to something to stop this noise.
