Need information regarding loan

Sir I got a education PNB loan in 2010 to 2014 for btech ( approx 3.5 lac) but after some emi have been paid but not more only after phone notice ..now today I got a notice from a PNB bank they said to pay all the amount plus penalty . I have become irda individual surveyor but some documentation is still pending to start surveyor work it will take 3 month to start my work properly So my question is that can I extend a time period of education loan 6 to 1 year . Plz help

Extension of tenure for repayment of loan amount is prerogative of the bank concerened.you can give this offer to the bank acceptance of same is their decision.legally you can not claim extension as a right.

my dear friend, without going through the detail, i m unable to give you opinion. You have stated that you have already paid some EMI, there is always terms and conditions, so please go personally to Bank official and cure your matter regarding loan and ask them to extend a time period of education loan, thereafter reply to the notice. Definitely you will get relief from the Bank.
