Your sister's claim would not be tenable in court. Ancestral property is one which is coming from the past 4 generations which is not so in your case. Hence this is a self acquired property and not an ancestral property and your mother could dispossess with it the way she wanted. Now that she has transferred the property to you in family settlement. You will be the owner and your claim cannot be challenged.

I would like to whether your grand mother conveyed the property by way of sale deed to your mother,if so your sister can't claim any share over the property.it will be considered as the self acquired property of your mother.
