Name change in 10-12 certificate

Sir in my 10-12 certificate name of my is Amrit kr and i want to change it to amrit pathak. I publish the gazette for the same Mentioning that my name has been wrongly written as amrit kr and my correct name is amrit pathak. Now what should I do.

the name change in class 10th is done within one year of publication of their result. post that you need to apply through the board by submitting the relevant documents and the affidavit for the same. it will be prudent for you to get in touch with relevant advocate who can assist you.

You will have to file a writ in the High Court against the board. They will contest and you will have to contest showing that your name has been changed and gazette as proof. High Court will order the board to change your name and issue you certificate.

based on your facts and the rules and regulation of the concerned Education Board which has issued 10 + 2 certificate , you can enquire from concerned board whether they can change your name in your 10 + 2 certificate or not . if they do not have any such policy then you may have to seek legal remedy before appropriate concerned Authority or Court after taking legal advice as per law .
