Minority Status of Brahmo categorized under Hindu sect

06-Jan-2023 (In Civil Law)
Brahmo Samaj applied for Minority Status in Supreme Court. The Constitution Bench disposed the case as withdrawn granting Liberty to the Petitioner to apply to the National Minority Commission. National Minority Commission did not consider them as minority but asked Brahmo Samaj to apply to State Minority Affairs Ministry for being considered as religious minority at the State Level. State Minority Affairs Ministry ordered that Brahmos were a Hindu Sect and not a religious minority. Can the Brahmo Samaj approach High Court with a writ?

Dear Sir/Ma'am,

The approach to the Supreme Court was in fact was not a correct procedure. Now when an order has been passed by the state ministry it could be brought under writ in High Court, where you need to consult me for further discussion.

No, I don't think so because the decision of the State Minority Ministry is full and full as they declare any section of people as Minority. If you want you can file a writ of certiorari asking the State Minority Ministry to provide relevant documents regarding this matter.
Thanks.
