How much is the period of continuous service to claim maternity benefit by women under Maternity act 1961?.........(160 days or 80 days) ?
six months period of maternity leave is permitted as per the last amendment. you have to be a permanent employee of the Firm or company. (a min period of 6 months usually for being permanent employee to attain benefit, ir as per appointment letter)
