Marriage between teacher and student

Hi, I work in an educational institution under govt of India as a Teacher (technical trainer). I am currently serving the 1st two years of probation period. The person I am looking forward to get married is a student of my institute. Can this cause any problem in my job or is it legal? (She is an adult of course, 25 years old)

No Employer can interfere into the personal affair of the employee; since no moral policing is permitted to be done. As long as the marriage is consensual and as per the conditions of the Hindu Marriage Act 1955 or any other marriage law guiding both of you. The employer can't directly affect your employment though you may be there in probation. All the best and regards

Yes the teacher can very well marry the student if both are adult and fall in the criteria of marriage as per the laws of the country is a matter, please also check if the school has any set clauses while appointing the teacher at the time of employment otherwise everything should be fine otherwise
