A legal notice is only an allegation, not proof. If the claims are false, there's no need to panic. Reply through an advocate, firmly denying the allegations and asking the sender to produce evidence. If the person was not even a member of the WhatsApp group, proving defamation or mental trauma becomes difficult. Preserve all chats and related records, avoid unnecessary communication, and let the matter be addressed through a proper legal reply.

Do not panic. A legal notice is only an allegation, not proof. If the person was not even a member of the WhatsApp group and no defamatory statements were made against him, his claim is weak. Preserve all WhatsApp chats, screenshots, and group details. We will send a strong reply denying the allegations, stating the true facts, and calling upon him to prove his claims.

hi first need to see the contents of the legal notice received from them and if they are all false allegations then you could send them reply notice based on the material available denying the allegations

You can post this response: A legal notice is only an allegation and does not establish liability. Do not ignore it. Reply through an advocate, denying the false allegations and placing the correct facts on record. Preserve the WhatsApp chats, group details, and other evidence showing that no defamatory statements were made or that the complainant was not even a group member. If the notice is frivolous or malicious, appropriate legal remedies are also available. For detailed legal assistance, you may contact us through our LawRato profile.
