Landlord promised to sell the house but not doing so

i am tenant for last 15yrs. owner ready to sell me the house many times but till not sold now i want to extend room of the house . can i make so ? what are the legal matter in this issue from my side which should be consider pl guide

You can file a specific performance even if there is an oral agreement to sell and the other party is not abiding by the oral agreement which you entered into with the other party. Now the things which comes into determination whether you have paid any consideration or not . You can not extend the room unless you have an explicit agreement to do so but if there is any agreement even if it is an oral one you can go for the specific performance.

you cannot change t the nature of property by making permanent change in the structure of the property without consent of the landlord or he may get the reason for filing suit for eviction. better is you may seek his consent in writing
