Is it safe to change faith in 2022

If I wish to change my religion from Hindu to Muslim so is it safe? Now days the person needs to submit request to government 60 days before changing faith. And I have see. Number of cases where some activist/ Hindu groups harassed the person. What do I need to do to change my religion legally with help of any lawyer or a safe method? Does gov actually give the right to person to change religion?

you've full freedom to convert to the religious faith in which you believe, irrespective as to what was your religion by birth. the constitution of India grants you this freedom. consult a local lawyer and he'll help you with the process

from which state you live. every state have there personal law for religion conversion. if you in uttar pradesh then you need to apply for change your religion in the front of district magistrate. all all proceeding completed then you got and permission for choose any religion
