Is it necessary to give details of any previous court case in job form

I have selected for govt job . I have not mention about my case 323/324506 ipc 34.because case was closed and court acquitted me in my attestation form.now authority sent me a letter that the question have you ever been arrested mark as no by you is leads to be cancealing of fact. So you have directly forward copies of like fir and judgment send to the authoritiy.i have marked as no because I am on anticipatory bail in this case before going to the court.i have not been arrested by police.now authority asked to the police about my case like detail of arrest, duration of detention and nature of case to decide further course of action. Is there any problem to get my job.
Yes if you will lie in the application form mentioning there was no arrest/case or complaint you will have to face the consequences. However, now you will have to provide all the correct details to the concerned authority.
