Is contempt application filed for violation of judgement maintainable?

CONTINUING PREVIOUS PAGE On 18-10-2012, afresh Contempt Application was filed alleging violation of the Judgment and Order dated 22-02-2001 with regard to the conduct of the proceeding de-novo. My submission is whether my Contempt Application is maintainable or not.

Yes, the contempt application is maintainable if it is filed a period of one year from the date on which the contempt is alleged to have been committed.It has been discussed has been discussed under Section 20 of the Contempt of Courts Act of 1971.
