Is carrying Monopoly Cards (8+ ages) in College a crime?

25-Aug-2023 (In Civil Law)
I am a student of Amity University, Noida, Uttar Pradesh. A couple of days back, my friends and I were waiting for a class that was scheduled after 3.5 hours. We finally found a free classroom to sit in. One of our classmates gave us her monopoly cards to pass time. We didn't know how to play, so we were just reading the cards and instruction manual, when a teacher walked in and started scolding us, calling us "gamblers". We apologised and tried to explain that we were not playing, etc. But she reported to "Discipline Committee" and targeting us constantly, telling others her edited version.

No its not. This seems to be a sham. You may approach the High Court against your University for quashment of the disciplinary action initiated against you. The High Court will direct Amity to drop proceedings against you all.
