If a registered will exist

I am a Hindu. Father did not leave a will . How to find out if a registered will exists ? What is the proper procedure and cost ?

Will is a private document and can’t be procured from public domain. If it doesn’t exist in your knowledge then you may proceed filing suit for partition and get the shares divided as per law. For any further legal assistance please feel free to contact Thanks

go to your registrar's office and check the record. request him to check and tell you if there is any will or not. if not, you'll need to apply for a success certificate from the court. without the succession certificate you would not be able to claim anything

you can get it searched from the Sub registrar's office which has jurisdiction of your father's residence. You may hire an agency like a due diligence/title search firm or move applications for certified copy before the sub registrar mentioning the details of your father
