Iam an IAS aspirant and false FIR has been lodged against me

Hello i am an ias aspirant,an FIR has been filed against me in minor issue can it affect my career?

Regarding your query: Please note that you will be allowed to sit for the examination for the UPSC however your candidacy will be affected if the case continues and you have not been exonerated. Please obtain a no objection certificate from the Court pertaining to your innocence. Additionally, have you been held in Judicial Custody for the offence? The next course of scheduled examinations for the UPSC is schedule in 2018, I would advise you to have the matter disposed off at the earliest and the FIR quashed.

Dear Querist, if your find that the case is false if you have proof that the FIR has been lodged based on false allegations you may file a Petition for quashing the FIR before appropriate high court. if this does not work there is another solution as well which i cant suggest here.

Dear Sir, It would be better, if you can short out the matter through compounding the same if permissible under law. If FIR is baseless and false you may apply to Hon`ble High Court for quashing the same.

If you are IAS aspirant then even a small case like S 159/160 affray can lead to cancellation of your candidature at the time of interview as they check the criminal record of the candidates. So your name in fir will make your UPSC attempt futile

Yes sometimes an FIR can affect your carrer especially when you're a government servant So if you're aspiring to be an IAS officer you should make sure that you don't have any pending complaints against u You can go for quashing of FIR
