I have given money to one person for business. He cheated me.

05-Mar-2023 (In Civil Law)
I have given money to my partner for business. He cheated and used my money for his personal expenses. He promised me that he will be payback on jan-2019 and signed a bond for that, but he didn't give money on that date. Still he is saying he don't have money and postpond the date. Please suggest what to do now....

If you have ample proof for the statement that he had used Your money or the business money for his personal expenses, you can file a police complaint and send him to jail. Other ways you can file a money suit before the civil court after sending legal notice and if he has any immovable property we can get it attached by the court so that he will not be able to sell those properties unless he settles the amount to you.
