How to know the case status in a civil case

we have appealed a pronote case confiring the decree in 2013 after many days it is showing LISTING DATE : 18-01-2017 and so far 3 notices have been sent to the party still it is showing POSTING STAGE : FOR ADMISSION what can be the position ???
in high court when notices are served it will be alloted as per the pending list for admission presently the matters pertaining to the year of 2007 and 2009 are being admitted and if you need to push the matter please contact advocate for listing by quoting the urgency

it appears that the other side has not been issued notices. Please check with court records whether the other side has received the notices.
Generally if the party does not appear even after receipt of notices, courts will once again issue notices and if the party does not appear again, then your appeal will be withheld.
