How to get phatta which is in my father's name

27-Sep-2023 (In Civil Law)
I got a piece of land by way of a registered will. It was originally a government poramboke land as per RSRS 1911. Nobody was occupied during that period. Later my father occupied a piece of land. During 1970 to 1988 Town survey was carried out. One old survey field was split up into 78 fields and a survey field was registered in my father's name in the Town Survey Field Register. But in old survey No. a temple name was entered in A. Now Tahsildar has not given patta to my land. How can I get the patta for this land.

Give a application for patta before the thasildhar along with the documents which indicates that you are in possession from your father times. The thasildhar will conduct an enquiry on your application and give patta. if no action from the thasildhar then you must approach High court for the interference to issue patta.

Give an application for transfer of patta from your father's name to your name along with death certificate and leg heir certificate to the concerned tahsildar. If he refused your request file a writ petition

If recent A register shows that its a temple land then it is difficult to get patta but anyway we can file appeal before RDO against the order of Thasildhar and if the same has been rejected then we have to file direction before the high court seeking grant of patta
