Sir,
Basically caveat petition are filed by any person for fair hearing ie...Natural Justice before the civil courts U/S CPC sections and Rules. Any person can file a caveat petition before the concerned juristic civil courts.If the caveat filed the civil court informs the details of the to the Defendants/ Respondents.

Caveat is a petition of civil nature under 148 A of the civil procedure code.caveat petition can be filed for ,no injunction may be granted with out notice to the caveator.It can be filed in the appealate court restraining the appealant to get injunction with out notice to the caveator.
