How to ensure title of property
29-May-2023 (In Civil Law)
Dear Sir , There is a property in Delhi. The Owner is Lets say Mr. A. There is an arbitration award in favor of Mrs. A in the year 1950. After the arbitration award , there is a decree. We are unable to get the certified copy of the decree. Going by a photocopy of the decree which is available the Decree is not registered. Is the title of the property clear? Thanks
Till the time the property is not registered, we cant say that the title of the property is clear..you will have to get the property registered. For getting it registered, you will have to arrange the certified copy of the decree. The term 'decree is registered ' is not proper.you should mention property is not registered
HI, Decree is not needed to be registered may be you are confused with mutation , if mutation its easy for you but also if you have photocopy you can go forward with it , there are provisions which allow you for that
