Hi
Only the land owners are eligible for compensation when the land is acquired by national highways.
Easement right holders are not eligible to claim compensation and more so if the easement rights document is not registered at the sub-registrar office, then there is no easement rights claim.

Dear Client,
Particulars are insufficient. When Government acquired land how your relative will claim easement right. The land will be Government Land. When easement document was not registered how can he claim easementary rights.
