How to claim mesne profit

iam the plaintiff in the suit for partition of property filed in the year 1987,defendents in possession since 1965. decree passed advocate commissioner appointed to file report.since when can i claim mesne profits of the alloted share of mine.

What is the period from which mesne profits can be claimed by the plaintiff stated in the decree. If it is for the past three years only the party should claim only for such period, if no appeal is filed. It is a partition suit, party can claim for the period from which co sharer enjoyed the benefit unauthorizedly. If the court finds otherwise and restricted the claim for mesne profits only for three years matter can be appealed to the higher court on that point and get redressal.
