How much time it take for a case of default payment to have judgment?

24-Jul-2023 (In Civil Law)
I have a client who owes around 5 lakh rupees and have not made payment for about 2 months. I have the bill, delivery receipt and call recordings. 1. Should I take with legal action and when? 2. How much time would it take to get a judgement from court?

Since you have all the evidence available with you to support your case then you can definitely take a legal action against your client.
And you can start it with sending them a legal notice for recovery of the amount and after that if they does not repay you then summary suit will be an effective and speedy option that you can file in the competent court of law.
Time taken in the proceeding depends on many factors.
Sooner you start the better.

A criminal complaint for the same would be filed and also a suit for recovery would be filed which would take around 1 to 1 and a half year of the tenure and your payment that is stuck will surely be recovered.

Hello, I have perused your query.
In these circumstances you have an option to serve the opposite party with a legal notice regarding the recovery of your dues.
A stipulated time period will be given to return the aforementioned amount with 2 percent interest since the date it became due.
However, in case of failure in compliance of the above stated notice, you can institute a civil suit of recovery in the court of law against the said person.
