Guy has refused to marry after 3 yrs

Hi, I was in a relationship for 3 yrs with a Hindu guy. I'm a Catholic. He had promised my parents that he would marry me as it was a concern for them. We were involved in a sexual relationship. But I thought that it was ok as he would marry me eventually. He then called his parents to meet my parents after 3 yrs. The date was fixed. But after a fight during that period. He just asked his parents to tell my mom that he is not interested in marrying me. He also told my mom that he has recorded calls of mine and his fights where I was abusive on the calls. He kept calls from 2016 till date with him. As proof why he doesn't want to marry me. He then vacated his rented apartment and left. He never told me anything. Can I file a case on him? Coz I was not aware he was recording my calls and also he kept on sleeping with me saying we will get married.
