I have perused the contents of your query and would advise you to seek a detailed consultancy from a lawyer having expertise and beiwf him with better particulars. The money can be recovered by filing a criminal complaint under section 138 NI Act in case you have the cheque else a suit for recovery needs to be filed.

You will have to file a Suit for recovery of the amount given alongwith interest. The evidence that you hold will have to be examined in a personal meeting. Also, whether amount was paid in cash or cheque will matter.

Dear client under Indian Evidence Act conversation recording is a good proof of any fact. You can file a recovery suit against the party concerned with the help of this conversation. In case there will be need if dome other evidences to prove your loan given to the concerned person your prudent Advocate will guide you better after listening your case circumstances. However l do mot forget that at the time of litigation you also is to prove that at that time your were having that much money with you. Best of luck.
