Encroachment in Road blocking our plots frontage

Hello Team, My neighbor is creating a lot of nuisance by constructing a hut in front of our backyard plot entrance. They are cleaning utensils/washing cloths in front of our gate as well. Since these guys have local political power, they are also threatening us saying the will block/occupy the entire road. I am clueless & very irritated. They had a small piece of land at the dead end of the road, and they had put this hut requesting that they will remove the same once they build the house. Now they are trying to sell the house/plot & trying to build a house in the road blocking our entrance.
You can file a civil suit seeking injunction restraining your neighbor from encroaching the road and thereby in any way disturbing your possession over your property. You have to prove that the actions of your neighbor affects your possession and enjoyment of your property through photographs and other documents. As an emergency measure you could move an interim application to restrain your neighbor to put up any construction on the path way. You could also file a declaration suit to declare that the pathway is common to all.
