Empect of change in nomenclature of MFM to MBA(financial management)

Dear sir, I am selected for assistant manger of BSFCSCL. As per advertisement,the eligibility requirement for the above said post is MBA/PGDBM I done my MFM in the year 2012 from BHU. But " the nomenclature of MFM has been change as MBA (Financial management) from the academic year 2015-16 in terms of notification published in the gazette of India dated 5 july 2014.Is MFM treated same as MBA(financial management) after changing nomenclature ? If BSFCSCL reject my candidature ,than i am able to relief from high court. however, course content of the both the above course are same.Kindly guide me

Yes you can avail the benefit of change in nomenclature, but for that you would have to establish the fact that the MFM degree is MBA (Financial Management). If your office raise any objection regarding your eligibility, first of all you send them your representation and clarify the situation with support of documents and in case your that representation is rejected you can challenge that order to the court. As you yourself has written that you have been selected. Your question is not very clear please write to me with all the correct facts and situation to get the appropriate consultation.

To answer your query:-
1. I don't think two degrees will be same. I cannot say without seeing the course content and without having an opinion or view of University.
2. However if there is a notification to desired effect, then it may be so. Relying solely on your facts here. I did not find notification online.
3. If both degrees are same, candidature cannot be rejected on this ground & it can be contested in High Court.

if the nomenclature has been changed from MFM to MBA by a gazette notification then in that case you are eligible to be admitted .if in case the organization doesn't acknowledge it and rejects your candidature for the post you can surely approach the court
