Eligiblity criteria to get reservation for OBC

I am a class 3 employee in Central Govt and my salary is above Rs. 8 lakh. Is my child eligible to get reservation in OBC?
No,not at all.U come within the ambit of creamy layer who has sufficient means and has come up with mainstream of society. Reservation is meant for upliftment of weaker section of the society. Now the OBC quota is raised from 6lac to 8lac so ur son is not eligible to get reservation in OBC.

Dear sir.
If your income is above Rs. 8 lacs. And your are OBC. Then your child is entitle fof OBC creamy layer certificate. According to government rules if you are belonging OBC
Category and your income is less than 8 lacs then you will entitle Non creamy layer .
