Division of profits between co-owners of a youtube channel

hello i want to know one thing and that is i am planning to open an youtube channel with one of my friend and my friend only wants to get famous by helping me so that is why he has told me that if he will help me then all credidentials details will be set by him, but he is promising me to give 50percent amount of total earning, so i want to know that is there any legal option available by which i could be safe even if my friend will try to cheat me in future by anymeans

Yeah there is a legal way for you. You can work with him as a partner . If you think that your friend would be cheat in future so you can make partnership deed with him and you have to register your deed from sdm office. So it would b a legal and valid way.
