Difficulty in admission due to removal of upper age limit in LLB
15-Oct-2023 (In Civil Law)
Sir/Madam, I obtained 8th rank in Kerala five year LLB entrance examination 2016. Now I came to know that Bar Council of India has issued a circular http://www.barcouncilofindia.org/revive-of-age-restriction-under-clause-28-of-legal-education-rules-2008/. prospectus there was no upper age limit. After declaring merit list they are denying our right . I don't know what to do? My financial status is very weak to pursue this matter. Please guide me Thanking You
There appears to be something funny in the issue raised. Circular of the Bar Council of India appears to be problematic. The Judgment of the Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court requires careful perusal. You may file a Writ in the Kerala High Court if admission is denied to you.
