Company did agreement with drivers association now not paying

We had renewed our agreement with syndicate drivers, bangalore on 21/9/2016 for 3 months after paying 30k to them. we have agreement copy also. Driver stopped coming to duty stating that the company hasn't paid him his dues. With his rash behaviour we told we don want him and informed driver agency. I told u give our money back and take care of drivers money also. Now driver is harassing us and taking us to police. He has taken some amount of payment from agency and wants us to give him also salary eventhough we had given all the payment to company. Company is not responding to us adequately. They told since u guys dissolved the agreement u shud pay him and they are not giving our money back
It amounts to cheating if you have documentary evidence. Taking money from you for a particular task of furnishing a driver and then not offering the services after receiving fee from you. Lodge a police complaint and also ask the syndicate drivers to pay you compensation by causing a notice. If police does not register the complaint, then file a private case with the Metropolitan Magistrate Court.
