Gazette notification can be done for the change of date of birth and for ghat you need to follow the procedure of change, first you need to do a publication regarding the subject matter and then proceed with the process of publication in gazette, for detailed information you can contact us.

Yes, if your name is correct on your Class 10 marksheet (or any other foundational educational document) but incorrect on your Aadhaar card, it can be corrected, and you usually do NOT need a Gazette notification in most cases. Here’s the practical position: Aadhaar correction can be done directly through UIDAI by submitting: • Your Class 10 marksheet (or birth certificate/passport) as proof of correct name • Online via UIDAI portal or by visiting Aadhaar Seva Kendra UIDAI treats Class 10 certificate as a valid primary identity document, so name correction is normally processed without any Gazette publication. Gazette notification is generally required only when: • You are changing your name entirely (not just correcting a spelling error), or • There is no documentary proof showing the correct name, or • Multiple official records carry different names and authorities insist on Gazette proof Since you already have the correct name on your 10th marksheet, it is considered strong evidence and should be sufficient. First try Aadhaar name correction directly with marksheet. In most cases it gets approved smoothly. Only go for Gazette route if Aadhaar authority rejects or specifically asks for it.

Yes. If your Class 10 marksheet shows the correct name, Aadhaar can usually be corrected directly through UIDAI using that document. A Gazette notification is required only for major name changes, not minor spelling errors.

You do not need a Gazette notification to correct a spelling or minor name mismatch on your Aadhaar when your name is already correct in official records like your Class 10 marksheet. Aadhaar name correction can be done directly through UIDAI by submitting a correction request at an Aadhaar Seva Kendra or online (if eligible), along with valid proof of identity such as your 10th marksheet. Gazette notification is generally required only in cases of formal name change, adoption of a new name, or substantial change in name, not for simple correction of an existing mistake. Since your name is already correct in an educational record, UIDAI accepts that as documentary proof for correction. Carry your original Aadhaar, Class 10 marksheet, and a valid photo ID. The correction usually reflects within a few days to a couple of weeks after verification. If the Aadhaar centre refuses without valid reason, you can raise a grievance on the UIDAI portal.
