Q: Criminal Contempt or Purjury U/S 340 CrPC and U/S 193 IPC

A civil suit was settled by mediation and disposed off by the court, later it was found by defendent that the affidavit filled by Plaintiff and oath taken in court was false, can their be cause of action for Purjury or criminal contempt, does court entertain settled matter with different cause of action. Can the case be filled against Plaintiff.

Yes if party’s filed false affidavit and oath in court then there can be action for purjury or criminal contempt, court can entertain it with different action and yes it can be filed against plaintiffs with separate petition with in concerned court

Q: Is personal visit to any bank branch mandatory to reinstate bank accnt

I had a personal bank account which became inactive due to non-usage, Then it went into unclaimed status. I contacted bank and gave them new KYC, and other notarized documentation, Since I am NRI, they insist to convert to NRE account which I did. Five month pass. Now they demand I need to visit branch in India with original documents to activate account. is bank demand legal or are they violating RBI guidelines?

Q: Ran away from police barricade

I was drunk and gave lift to someone and i saw barricade and i turned my car and tried to run the from the police constable because i was drunk and tremble. The police constable came in front of me and i ran from there. He was wearing camera and he must have recorded. I did not hit anybody and they also not chased me. What can be done by them now and should i be worried.

Q: Cheque Bounce Case/Non Bailable warrant issued/unable to track person

In travel company, A client paid 5.8 lac (40 tickets domestic for event) with a cheque and did "Stop Payment". Then cancelled few tickets and issued new cheque of due Rs 2.8 lac from old closed account of his mother which bounced. Case registered in Delhi court with both cheque, no apprearence from the person- non bailable warrant issued, case ongoing . Notice served via WhatsApp as address given is false.. how to recover the money -mobile number switch off, address not known. Only name is known
