Can I wind up my firm while a cheque bounce case is pending?

20-Dec-2023 (In Civil Law)
I have filed cheques bounce case for my payment due since last financial year. Mine is a sole proprietorship firm and has not traded in this financial year. I want to close that firm but I am concerned will it impact the case. Bill was raised in last financial year and cheque bounce case is going on. Kindly advise if I can close the firm?

the act of closure will effect the present cases only and not the cases already filed so no need to worry please be see weather all accounts and licenses were at the time of offence and filing of case that is all

As per your conversation you said that you have filed a cheque bounce case, because of that you want to wind up your firm, as i suggest you that you need not to wind up you firm because of cheque bounce case.

Since it is sole proprietorship firm makes no difference with your cheque bounce case. The case will continue as it is. Already you raised the bill and related Tax has been reflected in your bills. So it is up to you.
