Can excess pension be recovered from bank

I have an issue regarding by pension. I am retired from Indian Railways and getting very less pension from the bank. The bank is saying we are recovering excess pension payment. Kindly suggest can bank recover the excess pension payment?
You can ask the Bank to provide you the instruction letter through which the excess pension payment is being deducted. Pension is about livelihood and they can not deduct unless they have orders from the treasury/ court.
